We had two teams competing in the Jug this week.
Our A team were beaten in quite a close game against Fairywell in Round 1. The B team however performed with great distinction by reaching the quarter finals.
The team was skipped by David Gray with Peter Galloway, Steell McFadzean and Jim Dunlop. They beat Ayr & Alloway by 7 shots to 5 in Round 1 and followed that with a very impressive victory over Galston, also by 7 shots to 5. David played a great shot to turn round a potential 4 shot loss at the final end into 2 shots and victory.
Unfortunately the run came to an end in the Quarters where they came up against a rampant Stewarton Heather team.
Congratulations are due for a first rate performance.
