President's Cup - Final Round

Hearty congratulations to the winners of this year's President's Cup.  Steel McFadzean skipped the Gordon Todd rink to a 6-4 victory over Peter Galloway's team, skipped by David Graham. They certainly had a change of fortune after finishing last in the Fraser Cup in December.  Richard Morrison and David Gray were the other team members.

Second place was taken by Ernest Mutter's team, with Bob Cherry at skip. They had 7 points, one short of the winners.

Another winner this week was Gillian Watson who has now skipped the Willie Scott team to third place. She had a great win, by 9 shots to 3 over Ronnie Wilson's team skipped by Peter Kennedy. Throughout this competition, Willie's team was last in the league.  Results went in their favour tonight and third place was a great result.
