The second of our scheduled 3 friendly annual inter-club games was played on Thu 19 Jan against Ayr & Allolway. The 2 Gangrel Rinks were Skipped by Jim Dunlop (President's Rink) and Peter Galloway. As usual, both games were spirited and competitive with A&A winning 16-13 overall.
Team Dunlop won 10-8 against Team Alan Thomson, which included a 3 point penalty for being a player short, while Team Galloway struggled to recover from a 4 shot loss in the 3rd end to lose 3-8 against Team Alan Mitchell.
Lorrie and his catering staff produced an excellent menu selection of meals which was thoroughly enjoyed by all those who chose to stay on to dine together (13).
