Monday 21st October saw the Training Night, with approx 14 Gangrels enjoying coaching provided by Ayr CC's accredited trainers. All the reports have been very positive and we wish to extend our thanks to Kirsty and her team for assisting us. I'm sure we'll see the results as the weeks go on.
On the following Thursday, we held our annual match against the ladies of Beresford Ladies. This was the usual keenly fought match, with the Gangrels eventually winning all three games, although not without the occasional scare along the way.
Passion Caterers provided an excellent meal afterwards.
Last night, Bob Cherry's team had a great fightback to snatch victory from Euan Lawrence and so preserve their unbeaten start to the league. Jimmy Begg also fought back well and gained a point against Ronnie Peat and there were wins for David Hope and Charlie Jack.
